When you Raft with us, you will be comfortable, well-fed, and grinning from ear-to-ear. We offer a wide variety of half day, full day, and multi-day River Rafting trips. We are the most customer service oriented guiding company in the Telluride region. We do not skimp on the details.

HALF DAY RAFTING ADVENTURES
Fun and active Specie Creek
Our most popular Rafting trip! Enjoy this continuously dropping and winding river. Lots of action and fun! 7.5 miles through the San Miguel Canyon. Constant class II and III rapids. Ages 6 years old and up. Morning and afternoon trips.
Deep Creek, action and adventure This is a more athletic adventure. This upper section is a fast moving technical river section with a class IV difficulty rating. Be ready for an action-packed adventure! Ages 10 years and up.
FULL DAY RAFTING ADVENTURES
Action and adventure, Deep to Specie
Combine the two half day Rafting adventures for a full day of river play. Ages 10 years old and up. Lots of constant action as we move swiftly along this bouncing, winding river.
Lively and scenic Norwood Canyon A lively adventure on the San Miguel River though the Norwood Canyon. Beginning high in the watershed at Specie or Beaver Creek put-ins we experience a great variety of whitewater, flora, fauna and history as we descend over 800 feet in altitude along this pristine riparian habitat and one of the country’s last undammed rivers. Class II-III
Hanging Flume historical float A mild river trip great for families and younger children. This is the perfect raft trip for those who want to relax, have a picnic and visit an amazing construction from the mining era. Jumping into the river and enjoying a private float is encouraged! Shuttle to/from this location takes up to 1-1/2 hours from Telluride. Class I-II
OVERNIGHT RAFTING ADVENTURES
Overnight camp and raft on the San Miguel
This is the best way to truly experience the wilderness. Enjoy two days on the river with a night along the banks of the San Miguel. Experience a variety of wildlife, history, and scenery along this undammed river. Includes four gourmet meals and rental sleeping kits are available.
*Due to a low snowpack, the river season will end sometime in late July. Stand Up Paddleboard trips will continue through the summer.


RAFTING TRIP TIMES


  • Half Day A.M.- departs at 8A.M., returns at 12:30P.M.*
  • Half Day P.M.- departs at 1P.M., returns at 5P.M.*
  • Full Day Adventure- departs at 8 am, returns at 5P.M.*
  • Meet at the Boot Doctors in Mountain Village or at Oak street in Telluride.
  • *Trip time varies with water levels and group dynamics.


MEALS


All trips include snacks of cookies, chips and salsa, fruit, juice or sodas. All full day trips include gourmet riverside prepared picnic. Overnight trips include breakfast, lunch and dinners prepared by your guide chefs. Typical breakfasts include pancakes or eggs, hash browns, bacon, fruit, yogurt. Lunches are deli style sandwiches, salad, desert, fruit. Dinner selections are outdoor grill, dutch oven lasagna, enchiladas, salads, fesh baked deserts. You may bring your own alcoholic beverages. We can accommodate your special meal needs from vegetarian to low sugar or sodium.
